:: Redhat places kernel.h in /boot/. Don't know why, but the :: fact that it :: is in /boot/ offers some hints. Well, it's not totally obvious, but it seems the RH kernel has it patched in, whereas other distros create it via the init scripts... I think. Used to ID which kernel is running. -- Juha |
