???  I cannot get the latter to patch against RH 2.4.5-0.2.9.

Maybe I should just stick with the CVS tree?  I see it is now upto

P.S.  Damn it, I ordered my Athlon 1.3GHz chip Monday from a
near-local reseller and they still haven't delivered.  Build is
going slow on my Duron 650MHz.
