The core XFS version in 2.4.2/3 kernels differ somewhat.
The story behind this is that in the 2.4.4 ad 5 releases there were
patches commited that make XFS more compiler friendly to compilers other
then kgcc (egcs 1.1.2).
These fixes might mot be backported yet. I only know that the original 1.0
version source does not compile.
