GCC 2.96-88 from RH Rawhide, that is.

Installed it, and compiled the 2.4.6-pre5 from CVS this morning, and ran
the usual things, filling up partitions, and removing the files, as well
as going into single mode.

No f/s corruption... :-)

This is on a dual P3 -500, VIA Apollo Pro 133A (Tyan Tiger 133), single
EIDE disk at the moment.

Next to see if SCSI behaves.
