The driver code works one compiled but the way it was "integrated" into
the linux kernel build system leaves a lot to be desired.  There are
too many ways that aic7xx can fail to compile, or worse, be miscompiled
and fail when the driver is used.

I tried to show the aic7xxx maintainer how to do it correctly but he
insisted on doing it his own way.  What do I know, I'm just the kernel
build maintainer.
