Hello all.
Is there any documentation that explains in details how XFS ACL
work ? I've read acl(4) (or acl(5) as it's named in the Linux
port) but it leaves too many things unsaid.
For instance,
- what is the mask field for ?
- exactly how do chmod and chacl interfere with each other ?
- after chacl, the perms look like ---abc--- where abc is the
value of the mask. What is that supposed to mean ?
- exactly who has what rights w.r.t. ACLs ?
