There is nothing built into XFS for marking or avoiding bad blocks. 
There was a thread about this earlier, you might check out the archives.

I think the summary is:

Modern hard drives have internal "housekeeping" to transparently move
data away from bad blocks as they appear.  By the time the _user_
actually starts seeing bad blocks, this means that the drive can no
longer cope with the failures, and it's probably a short trip to the
trash.

Look for the "ucsc-smartsuite" utility to monitor drive health (via the
S.M.A.R.T. protocol), so you can replace your drives before they fall
apart.  :)
