I just had the same problem -- you can mount them the hard way by hand
by doing:
mount /dev/rd/disc0/part1 /wherever_it_goes
etc., then edit the /etc/fstab to use the long device paths -- that'll
make them mount on boot, but I still haven't figured out why that
happened.
