The log *is* created automatically (breathe, Ric... ;), but the default
size is 1000b.  All we are talking about is asking mkfs to make it bigger
than the default.

Whew.. (drawing a deep breath!). Thanks Josh! I really expected it was, but I got caught up in the moment there. :)
