There are lots of changes to aic7xxx sequencer code between 2.4.4 and
2.4.5, the 2.4.5-xfs patch has exactly the same code as 2.4.5 base in
this area.  This is almost certainly a generic 2.4.5 aic7xxx problem,
not XFS related.  I suggest you take this to linux-kernel, linux-scsi
or the aic7xxx maintainer.
