FYI, there is not much point in doing kdb diagostics after message
"VFS: Unable to mount root fs".  The panic is a side effect of the
failing mount of root and by the time the kernel panics, the real
problem has gone.  For most kernel panics, kdb data is useful, but not
for this particular error message.
