This (and also -D_USE_LARGEFILE64) is exactly the fix that the tcsh folks came up with, and a patch is forthcoming for that app. I'm wondering why this isn't (or shouldn't be) defined in stat.h by default on RH7.x (and perhaps other distros, too?). What does SuSE do? Is this totally up to the application to define correctly? Mainly I'm worried that this is this going to bite me in some other (perhaps more significant) way. Thanks |
