I'm in XFS heaven!!!! I've just built a 280Gig xfs file system,
dumped 100 gigs of mirror content on it (linux distributions
etc.) hit the reset button on the system and watch it come back
with a working 280gig file system in less than 5 seconds. (the
time the OS took to mount the xfs file system.) WOW! the
disk writing benchmarks scale very nicly with ext2 (i.e.
ext2 and xfs wrote data to the disk system at about the
same data rate.)
So, can someone please get this xfs file system over to
Linus! I would really like to see this file system be
part of the next rawhide update.
