Attempting to upgrade an RH7.1 system freshly built using RH7.1 and the
Release-1.0-test2 SGI XFS installer to the latest 1.0-test3 in an
attempt to solve a problem.I have noticed that rpm will generate a Segmentation fault when attempting: rpm -Uvh --test kernel-source-2.4.2_SGI_XFS_0.10.4d1.i386.rpm This happens at approximately 50% of the way through the test update, as indicated by the last percent value shown during the test update. I have downloaded the rpm from oss.sgi again, but receive the same problem. The other 7 RPMs I need to update do not exhibit this problem. Thx Steve |
