It's not there for the kernel, unfortunately. I don't know how well
alien works to convert rpm to deb? Probably not so well for kernel
packages.
If you had an interest in creating/maintaining debian kernel packages,
we could probably put it up on oss.sgi.com as "contributed" so that
others could benefit from it. (I don't know what it takes to make it
available via apt-get.)
As Steve said, packaging for ALL distributions would be a huge resource
drain. We'd like our primary focus to be on making XFS for Linux as
good as it can be. Packaging for distribution is necessary, but trying
to package it & build installers for all distributions is just not in
the cards.
