Yes they do but since they are auto generated it doesn't make sense to have
them in the tree.
That and our source controll system checks out files read only, so it's a
pain
for us to have pre remove them whenever e check out a tree.

I would upgrade to the latest 6.1.11, the stock one has not worked very well
on some systems.
