just put the following together:

  http://innominate.org/~graichen/projects/xfs/misc/loop-6-xfs.diff

which is jens' loop-6 patch with all his suggested changes for
the XFS tree - haven't tried it yet - but it should at least
apply cleanly and it builds fine (and i think it also should
work) ... so if anyone needs it - get it
