Yes, it is an SMP system, with dual P-II 450MHz CPUs on an ASUS P2B-DS
motherboard. I didn't have to use the "noapic" option, but maybe I should
have tried that with my 2.4.2-xfs when I encountered the problems with
the ethernet card... Oh well, lets see how this fares.
