Howdy all,
I have a single XFS filesystem, mounted on a 4 disk software RAID5 array.
It's been working just fine, until yesterday when a forced reboot rendered
the raid in need of a resync.
The resync starts just fine when the raid device is brought up, but as
soon as the filesystem is mounted, the resync gets stuck -- the resync
thread is still running, but nothing happens. It chews up CPU time and
renders the system almost unuseable.
Unmounting the filesystem, stopping the raid array (raidstop) and
restarting will get the resync going again (until the filesystem is
mounted, or the resync completes).
Has anyone else encountered this problem? I'm running the XFS snapshot
from Feb 23.
