Changes: Linus' 2.4.2 tree was merged. A change to sr.c was backed out.

The moxa smartio driver was fixed. More i2o config time is now allowed for
slow calls. Aty128fb updates were made.
*The "loop" name was added to the root dev names.*

Further spelling cleanups were done.
Bogus warning emissions from aha1740 were removed, as well as surplus
assignment in vmalloc, and an unneeded ifdef in i386/kernel/irq.c. Ad
oor-locking ioctl was added to ide-floppy.
SCSI disk opening O_NDELAY is now allowed for removables. Cosa compile
warnings were
fixed. Dumpable/setuid write ordering was cleaned up. The 3ware crashes
were hopefully fixed.
