Do you get a segfault?  Are you using an updated GLIBC 2.2?  There's
some incompatibility there with the GLOBAL keyword... Hopefully it's
fixed in the most recent devfsd, if not, look in Red Hat's bugzilla,
there's a patch posted there, I believe.
