rsync anyone? it supports incremental transfer, multiple login procedures and compression. It's free and available on most samba mirrors.

It also works great for updating websites (a large website I may note)
If only a time stamp changes, it would not result in downloading the entire file.

expect these following directories to be dropped from

the cvs trees.

SCRIPTS/

SOURCES/

SPECS/

and the top level Makefile.
