        Sure, I will do that. A friend of mine got it working without a hitch.
The impression I got was he pulled down the entire CVS tree fresh.  I could
be wrong, and I will ask him what he did. when I find out, I will post what
he did to see if that helps you guys pin down the problem.  In the mean
time, I will get vanilla 2.4.1 and copy the reiser tree over. thanks!
