I got the nvidia rpm to work fine under the 2.4.x tree. you need to make
sure that /usr/src/linux points to the kernel source tree (which it is not
by default because the 2.4 kernel link is /usr/src/linux-2.4).

make sure to get the latest 0.9-6 driver from NVidia...they have a pesky
habbit of updating the code without changing the version number...the only
way to tell they did this is to check out the timestamp on the rpm...

the 0.9-7 works great under 2.4 and xfree 4.0.2 so you could just wait til
that is publicly available...probably very soon.
