What I had to do was first get the vanilla 2.4.0 kernel and all that Documentation/Changes tells you to get. Get and apply to reiser patch first. Next get and apply the XFS patch. Glibc-2.2 is also required and fileutils need to be comiled against it. So far everything looks good on this end. It was quite a bit of work but looks like it'll be worth the effort. Glibc-2.2.1 was the tricky part for me. Read and Read the FAQs again and again for bothe reiser and glibc............... -- Mark Hounschell markh@xxxxxxxxxx |
