I just got this error trying to install xfs root on my laptop (Dell Lattitude CPx). "Error mounting device hda1 as /boot: Invalid argument This most likely means this partition has not been formatted. Press OK to reboot your system." I have a 100M /boot (xfs) and a 256M swap, the rest of the disk at sda6 is / (xfs). It is IDE obviously. I can mount /boot as ext2 though in the miniroot...weird. -tduffy |
