I've build the linux-2.4.0-XFS kernel and the tools etc. from cvs source
on a redhat 7.0 box. I created an XFS partition on an IDE drive and
mounted it. My / is still ext2. Works like a charm. The only problem is
that my kernel modules won't load correctly with this kernel (Unresolved
symbols in all of the modules) but this could also be some screw up of
me.
