if anyone is interested: i have uploaded a new miniroot at

  http://innominate.org/~graichen/projects/miniroot/0.6/

the basic idea behind it is to have a standalone environment (ramdisk)
to do xfs things from (xfs_repair of the / fs, xfs_db of it, con-
version of an ext2 / to xfs and so on) ... it's very easy to use
and the docs are terrible so far :-) ... just give it a try

p.s.: 0.7 will follow sometime soon with some fixes to it i already
      have around - but 0.6 should work pretty well too (only
      xfs_admin does not work yet due to missing
      /usr/bin/expr)
