Whoops, didn't know there was a binutils-dev package, I'm using binutils-2.10.1.0.2-1 (packaged with Debian/Woody). Right, after installing the headers the kernel build successfully! Now, I started the debugger with kdb=early and did some exploring. Trying to figure out how to set breakpoints inside the init functions (C is my comfort layer). Help appreciated :) -andy -- AlsaPlayer, http://www.alsaplayer.org/ |
