Are there any plans (even the slightest consideration) of porting XFS to
other operating systems? I had in mind ports to free systems like the BSDs,
and maybe to other Unices if there is any interest. I know IBM's OpenAFS
has been ported to Digital Unix, Solaris, Linux, AIX (obviously) and even NT
but this is mostly because of commercial demand. Are there any plans to
extend XFS's capabilities to, say, Free-, Open-, and NetBSD? As far as I
know, those OSes do not have journaling file systems and could very well
benefit from XFS.

thank you
