Hi, I had a lot of random crashes with the current xfs-kernel (2.4-test8). First, I thought it was the cron job or unloading of modules. Sometimes the machine did a reboot or hang after 15 minutes, sometimes I had no problems vor almost a day. I think it was only a bug in the Realtek-8139 driver. I have installed the latest version 0.9.10 and it seems to work now. You can download it at http://gtf.org/garzik/drivers/8139too/ Perhaps this should be updated to the cvs-tree if we don't use a newer kernel release. I don't know if anyone had the same problems. ciao, Ralf |
