it really looks like xfs is now really stable on ppc too - haven't seen any problem so far and run the imac now with xfs as root fs - i hope that i'm not too early happy but so far it looks really good ... for anybody else who want's to try it http://innominate.org/~graichen/projects/xfs/ppc-xfs-diff.000914 is a diff to the sgi xfs cvs tree ... t p.s.: those tests were done on a SuSE 6.4 ppc system btw. -- thomas.graichen@xxxxxxxxxxxxx technical director innominate AG clustering & security networking people tel: +49.30.308806-13 fax: -77 http://innominate.de |
