I've been tempted by the latest reports on success of XFS on powerpc, and thought I'd give it a try. To my dismay, it didn't compile. on kernel/sysctl.c it fails on asm/kdb.h (kdb is not ported to powerpc). Is it wise to force-undefine CONFIG_KDB_H? (Unselecting debugging information on kernel setup doesn't have any effect obviously). Also, would patching a later kernel with the xfs patch? (namely -test[89]) Thanks for any help. Konstantinos Margaritis PS: Please CC to me, as I am not on the list (yet). |
