Good. This matches my other observation. When I tar up my Oracle
installation tree (ext2) to a xfs filesystem all goes well. When I list the
tar file, or restore from it, it prematurely stops about 20-30MB into the
tar set. The tar file has the right byte count when I create it. When it
restores it acts as if it cleanly hits EOF and exits with $?=0
