Hi,

I'm using 2.4.0-test5 kernel with 08012000linux-2.4-test5-linux-2.4-xfs-.patch.
XFS is corrupting files when untarring..Here's what i did..
i created a tarball of /usr directory and then i create a xfs filesystem
and then i untarred the tarball to this filesystem.. After that lost of
binaries had wrong headers etc..

First time i thought it might be due to some problem while creating the
tarball ..so i check the disk space etc..i created this tarball again
from freshly installed /usr directory and then i created md5sums and
then i created xfs filesystem and untarred the tarball into it.
Again some files had wrong headers etc..then i did a md5 checksum compare
and i got 3000 checksum failures out of 30000 files. If u want i can send
the out of checksum compares...

Does anyone know of any know issues with either 2.4.0-test5 or 08012000 patch
at the download site ??

thanks

-Wilson
