The easiest and most obvious thing to do is to add a new disk
and make that an XFS file system. Then, copy all the files/directories
over using a tool like tar or cpio. That works today assuming you
don't hit one of the bugs in our code.
Then, unmount the ext2 file system, remount the XFS file system
on the same mount point as the ext2 file system.
Now you have a spare disk which is a back-up to keep around in
the XFS disk goes bad.
