According to the EIP, it is crashing in page_fault. EIP=c010af30, page_fault=c010af28. The sequence is VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem) readonly Freeing unused kernel memory: 148k freed General Protection Fault: 0000 EIP=etcetc. k6 box, debian/unstable system.
