Well, it seems to be a reasonable thing to do at first - I could switch
between the old and new setting easy during boot time by either a boot
time parameter or lilo choice. The rest would require editing fstab to
switch...
I did noticed another thing though - there is a xfs process running after
booting - and that is the cause of xfs can not be run as /. Since that
process
may not be started in time for init to be loaded.....
I will try to work out a scheme to test out xfs properly later...
