Eric,

I can't reproduce it now... So far, we have changed kernel from 4.5 to 4.5.2-1
and there was some bugfixes for sparc. I'm going to run xfstests soon again,
and closing this bug as invalid.

Can you get an xfs_metadump of of the device?  It would be interesting to see
if it's sparc64-specific, endian-specific, or none of the above.
