Summary: xfs_repair doesn't fix sb versionnum missing attr
Product: XFS
Version: Current
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: minor
Priority: P1
Component: xfsprogs
AssignedTo: xfs-masters@xxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: linush@xxxxxxxxxxx
Estimated Hours: 0.0
Classification: Unclassified
I had to reconstruct superblock 0 of an XFS filesystem as the result of a disk
crash and then ran xfs_check on that filesystem. It reported:
sb versionnum missing attr bit 10
Then I ran xfs_repair on the same filesystem which completed normally. Again I
ran xfs_check, and it again reported the same missing attribute bit. After I
put this information out on the mailing list, I got this from Eric:
So, yes, it looks like this is a test that check has, but repair is missing.
Probably worth putting into repair.
