Yes, It is Suse, but
OpenSUSE 10.2 
and I'm missing the dmapi directory in my kernel.
Both, OpenSUSE and kernel.org does not have any file/directory
called dmapi
# find . -name '*dmapi*'
is empty here.

So I would be glad to see, how to patch the kernel.
That was, what I've been looking for, before opening this bug.
