Summary: xfs_iget_core: ambiguous vns: vp/0xdabc0080,
invp/0xf2995b00
Product: Linux XFS
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: critical
Priority: P2
Component: XFS kernel code
AssignedTo: xfs-master@xxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: sp-linuxxfs@xxxxxxxxx
NFS exported file system crash. No way to recover (or none that I know off).
Full power cycle is needed to get the server back.
Also, I have not been able to reproduce it on pupose. It happened about a year
and a half ago for the first time. Then in october of 2006 and now this week.
Unfortunately things brings our whole network down, as everything else depends
on this server.
The hardware is a Supermicro with 6 SCSI disks running software raid + lvm + xfs
+ nfs. It also has 3GB RAM and 2 x 1.8GHz xeons.
Kernel is:
Linux s26052 2.6.8-2-686-smp #1 SMP Tue Aug 16 12:08:30 UTC 2005 i686 GNU/Linux
