Linux samba 2.6.12.3 #1 SMP Tue Aug 2 11:12:26 CEST 2005 i686 GNU/Linux

We also have this problem and I searched a bit:

It seems that some user IDs have the problem and if I delete the user or give it
another user id it works. If I create a new user with the old id, the problem
exists again. Have a look at how it looks on the host:

This is a really big problem for us, because we often come in the situation of
adding new user. So even if I give those users different ids, those ids will
most likely be reused later.

Is there any hotfix available or development ongoing regarding this?

Do you need some more information?
