Here are checksums at my site for the file for which your virus
checker is complaining; I downloaded this file from the SGI site on
2001.04.25 15:21:14.
% md5 pro64-0.01.0-13-sources.tar.gz

You should be able to verify one or more of these at your site. md5
and sha are available at
ftp://ftp.math.utah.edu/pub/md5.tar.gz
(and also in .jar, .zip, and .zoo forms there).
sha1sum, sha256, and sha384 are part of recent GNU textutils releases,
e.g.,
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/textutils/textutils-2.0.14.tar.gz
It would be helpful if the SGI Web site posted checksums for such
files, preferably stored in a read-only file system.
