The reason that ia2mips was not registered is because there are larger
problems than your comments about nsize and fsize.

Hint: look when the byte swapping takes place.  The code for byte swapping
big endian input was changed to do this correctly.  The code for byte
swapping on output was not fixed.

Thanks for the fix to nsize & fsize.
