Dear all,

I am having troubling building the ATLAS libraries on the IA64

$ uname -a
Linux fourier1 2.4.0test8-000913-44smp #1 SMP Tue Oct 3 23:29:59 PDT 2000 ia64
unknown
$ sgicc -v
SGIcc Compilers: Version 0.01.0-11

$ cd /lhome/zzcgudk/ATLAS/tune/blas/gemm/SGICC_IA64
$ sgicc -O2 -c dmm.c

Signal: Segmentation fault in Hyberlock Scheduler phase.
Error: Signal Segmentation fault in phase Hyberlock Scheduler -- processing

sgicc ERROR: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/ia64-sgi-linux/sgicc-1.0/be died due to signal
4
sgicc ERROR:  core dumped

It works with -O1 or -O0 and also with gcc.

Code is attached. dmm.c (329 lines)

It is a 60x60 matrix multiply that has been unrolled. The source is generated
automatically by the ATLAS install.

Yours,
Daniel
