pmiostat: improve detection and reporting of incorrect counter rate
conversion
Add more checking for counters that go backwards, which frequently happens with
merged archives spanning long time periods (days or weeks), especially when
pmiostat is running with long sampling intervals. Related to Fedora BZ
1296750.

pmiostat: ignore BrokenPipeError exception.
Ignore BrokenPipeError exceptions so piping to tools like head doesn't complain.
