You could generate some your_index.html file with those hostname/hostspec
tuples hardcoded in the vector launch href url.

Here's fine.  Note though that we bundled unmodified copies of these
applications, and are probably not in a position to fix internal bugs
there.  A periodic rebase to newer upstream e.g. grafana is the
favoured model.
