Hi Carlos, thanks that is useful info. I think it makes little sense to fetch speed and duplex for devices when they are down, especially for Ethernet devices where they need to be up to have the negotiation take place (in theory it makes little sense for most devices, virtual ones included, but I'd prefer being conservative in this change) Let me see how I can tweak this.
