Ah, we need to merge pmdaproc.1 & pmdahotproc.1 - there is no separate
pmdahotproc binary now (that was a detail of the IRIX implementation).
Then the man page will be present in both pcp.io and man7.org and you
can choose whichever suits best.

Perhaps a reference to "pcp-3.10.5 or later" would suit here?
